This is the finished painting of Virgo.  His "mom" is very happy with how it turned out and told me it was just how she wanted Virgo to look.  She can't wait to give it to her husband.  I'd love to paint more dog portraits.  This was my first one and Virgo was so much fun to paint.  It was such a great experience.  So much different for the other subjects that I usually paint.  Does anyone have a pet they would like me to paint?

This is the first time I'm going to paint a dog smiling.  I made lots of sketches and these are the ones Virgo's Mom picked for the painting.  I can't wait to start!

Virgo - Photos at the Beach

Virgo's "Mom" wants me to paint a picture of Virgo at the Beach for her husband's 65th Birthday Present.  She would like a painting of Virgo at his happiest time....running in the sand.  She also wanted me to capture Virgo smiling.  I never realized that dogs actually smiled.  These are some shots of Virgo having lots of fun.
