I loved wandering around the old streets in Tel Aviv, Israel.  It is really a magical place.  There was so much history to take in.  We went there with my aunt and uncle (my 2 favorite people).  We came upon an art store with the neatest art.  My uncle was looking at an easel outside the store and this painting was inspired by a shot I took of him and my imagination, since the street doesn't
 look quite like this!

Daily Paintworks Auctions

Yesterday I sold my first painting, "Bermuda - Pastel Perfection",  using a Daily Paintwork's Auction.  I am happy to say everything went smoothly.  I must say David Marine, founder of Daily Paintworks, is great.  He seems to have everything down to a science for both the buyer and the artist.  I'm very pleased and am going to use Daily Paintwork's Auctions a lot.  I think it is fun to bid on the paintings...a great way to buy art.  You'll see "Click Here To Bid" buttons on this blog under the painting that is being auctioned whenever there is an auction going on. 

Daily Paintworks and some of my goals

New and exciting news for me.  I have become a member of "Daily Paintworks".  It is a new online Art Gallery.  I am going to be adding all of the paintings on my blog to my Daily Paintworks Gallery and you will be able to view my work on my Gallery Page.  You can buy my paintings there.  Also, they have "art auctions" where you can put in a bid for one of my paintings.  I am pretty excited to try this out.  I will of course still put all of my paintings on my blog.  I am still researching other online "art stores".   I am on the Dailypainters.com waiting list.  They are right up there in places where I want to display my art.  Hopefully, they will have an opening soon for me.     I don't want to display my paintings with the giant online art galleries.  There are just to many paintings on those sites and I would lose the personal touch with my customers.
