Santorini is so bright, white and striking.  I couldn't help myself and added lots of color to the hotel.  This took me months to paint.  I changed the colors a few times until I was happy with it.

"Positano Dream" is one of my Mini (not so mini) Paintings.  It's one of my all time favorite paintings.  It is very intricate and took me a long time to paint.  Have to say, I enjoyed every minute of creating it.   I have a large version of it and it is hanging in my studio and  I never get tired of looking at it!

This was inspired by the "Milk Market Cafe" in Kinsale, Ireland.  Great Ice Cream!  Kinsale is a pretty town with lots of colorful buildings and great shops to explore.

Our Photo Club took a trip to Worth Avenue, on Palm Beach.  I was never there before and took about 800 photos.  Lots of small streets to walk down with very interesting architecture and beautiful flowers.

I love colorful flowers and always wanted to have a home with flowers, in big pots, on the walkway going up to my front door.  Thought it would be the perfect home that you couldn't wait to come home to.  When we moved down to Florida, one of the first things we did, was to go shopping for flower pots and pretty flowers to go in them!

"Windy Day In The Islands" was inspired by a hotel we stayed at on Anguilla called "Cap Juluca".   Magical place.  Stark white buildings set against the prettiest color skies and beautiful Caribbean water.   It is framed and  I painted the frame to include it in the picture.

The Original Painting has been sold and is on it's way to it's new home in Brooklyn.  

Santorini is all white and blue but I couldn't resist adding lots of color to the buildings.  It took me about a month to complete.  Had to get every little nook and cranny just the way I wanted it to be.  I had so much fun painting it.  I remember walking up and down lots of stairs there and it was as much a challenge to paint them as it was to walk them!

The Oak Bluffs General Store was in Martha's Vineyard.  They had the neatest things in there....anything you could want on a vacation.  We spent a great afternoon there shopping and just hanging out on the porch with our very good friends.  Painting this brought back lots of great memories!!!!

I had so much fun today.  I brought some of my paintings to someone's house.  The woman really liked them and asked her daughter if she would like one for her bedroom.  She is 5 and adorable.  She put all of my small paintings on her bed, spread them all out and picked out her favorite for her wall.  We hung it up and she was so excited.  Made me feel really good! 

"Mediterranean Magic" is painted from my imagination.  It took a lot longer than I expected.  I got carried away with the flowers.  They were lots of fun to paint.
